Don’t forget! Tomorrow night is Ladies Night!

Starting on Wednesday 24th February and continuing every Wednesday night from 7pm to 10pm, Healey’s Bar and Terrace, provides a perfect venue for Ladies Night.

Ladies will enjoy three free bubbly drinks or three luscious Ladies Night cocktails, as well as special themed Ladies Night Cuisine. Gentlemen are made to feel special on Healey’s Ladies Nights too; as Happy Hour prices will be available for them until 10pm.

For the V.I.L- the Very Important Ladies- a limo service is available to provide elegant transportation to the stunning venue, and after enjoying the free drinks, Ladies and Gents can take in the views at Healey’s Terrace, where Dubai’s newest skyline combines with the scenic landscape of the surrounding lakes.

This coming Thursday, 25th February, Chef Thomas will launch our new dinner menu for the Cavendish Restaurant.

Already featuring a tasty (and keenly priced!) lunch menu, our new and much expanded dinner menu will feature a large variety of mouth-watering dishes, complimented by an extensive wine list.

What we are doing to help you find us…

Although the availability of taxis outside and around our hotel has greatly increased over the last few months, guests are still telling us that many taxi drivers are facing difficulties locating our hotel.

There are, of course, very many taxi drivers in Dubai, and new drivers are joining all the time, so while the word that there’s a new kid on the block in

JLT does get out, it could possibly get out a bit faster.
We thought we’d help to speed things up a bit and, last Friday, organised a “drive-through” lunch promotion for Dubai taxi drivers in conjunction with the Roads & Transport Authority.

Last Friday saw our kitchen brigade, Sales & Marketing team-members and many other staff work hand in hand to serve lunch boxes containing vegetarian biryani, fruits and water, to all taxi drivers who drove up outside the hotel.

Altogether, more than 325 drivers showed up for the event, which we had promoted through flyers in English, Arabic and Urdu and which was also broadcasted by the RTA to all drivers through their electronic information system.

The day was a big success and we will probably repeat it in the future. In the meantime, there are now another 325 taxi drivers who most certainly know where new Dubai’s most stylish new hotel is located.

Congratulations Chrisma! Your duck rocks!

Congratulations to our Junior Sous Chef, Chrisma Antono, who recently won first prize in the ‘The Seasonal Challenge’ cooking competition , organised by Caterer Middle East and Nestlé Professional.

The judges were most impressed by the two courses that Chrisma and his team-mate Antonio Dominicis from the Radisson Blu Deira Creek prepared for them – rolled duck breast wrapped with leek served with mushroom risotto, and rice pudding squares with mango salsa.
