The Cavendish (PM) at the Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers is hosting a salt tasting evening in conjunction with the International Wine & Food Society, the world’s oldest and most renowned gastronomic society.
The Bonnington’s executive Chef Thomas Gagliardi will be on hand throughout the evening to lead guests through the history and gastronomy of salt. Those dining will then have the opportunity to taste and compare various salts from different parts of the world and discuss with others who share the same appreciation.
To complete the evening Chef Thomas and his team have designed a spectacular gourmet 5 course dinner which is sure to delight and intrigue your taste buds. A specific salt type will be used in each course intended to complement and enhance the flavor of the fare on offer. Each course will also be accompanied by a specially chosen fine wine. An evening such as this is every food lovers dream and an ideal night out for those who share a passion and true appreciation for food and its history.
The dinner will be held on Saturday, 17th September 2011 and will commence at 18:30 at The Cavendish (PM) – Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers. This is an exclusive private dining experience and costs AED 390 for members of the International Wine & Food Society and AED 460 for non-members, inclusive of wine.
