Skål Dubai @ Healey’s Terrace – Monday, 23rd November 2009, 7 p.m.

We’re delighted to announce that Skål Dubai has selected our Healey’s Terrace as venue for their next gathering on 23rd November 2009.

Skål Dubai is the Dubai chapter of Skål International, a professional organisation of tourism leaders around the world and the ONLY international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry.

Skål Dubai is still a relatively young chapter, but they have set themselves ambitious growth targets and are well on the way to achieving them.

The first Skål club was founded in 1932 in Paris by travel managers, following an educational tour of Scandinavia. The idea of international goodwill and friendship grew and, in 1934, the “Association Internationale des Skål Clubs” was formed with Florimond Volckaert as its first President, who is considered the “Father of Skål”.  Skål International today has approximately 22,000 members in 480 Clubs throughout 89 nations.

On Monday, 23rd November, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Healey’s Terrace is the place to be if you’re in Dubai and are working in leisure, tourism, travel or hospitality!

The event is invitation only, but the Club welcomes non-members and you can find out more on Skål Dubai’s Facebook or LinkedIn groups or by emailing – alternatively, you can click here to access the electronic RSVP form.
