Worldhotels Executive Round Table Middle East
Last Wednesday evening, the Bonnington was proud to host the first ever Worldhotels Middle East Executive Round Table at the Cavendish Restaurant.
Created to bring together senior executives of the various Worldhotels member hotels in the Middle East, the evening saw Robert Hornman, Worldhotels’ Managing Director, welcome a number of distinguished guests from other hotels in the region.
The evening, we are glad to say, was a big success and the company, food, drinks, and service were all excellent!
Here are a couple of pictures of Chef Thomas’ creations for the night:
This was followed by the “Two Hoisins”: A homemade hoisin glazed lobster with roasted pumpkin pulp, cumin dust and green onion black sesame slaw, and a Peking marinated duck eggroll with house-pickled jalapeno and hoisin ginger glaze.
All that wasn’t enough, of course, so Thomas also created an utterly amazing pre-dessert consisting of pineapple ice, coconut pate fruit, and basil and Balinese peppercorn Foam:
Which brings us to the final course – Thai Green Curry ice cream profiteroles and black sesame white chocolate pieces:
The food was accompanied by an excellent selection of beverages courtesy of our Food & Beverage Manager Giacomo Puntel.
We hope to have Bokabento, our fine-dining Asian influenced restaurant which inspired the menu, up and running early in 2011 and hope that you’ll pop in to sample these and many other fine creations.
