We’ve been part of Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers neighbourhood almost since it started and we’ve seen it grow from a lot of sand to what it is today: One of the most attractive neighbourhoods with the world’s top freezone in the middle.
Recently, and just as a further sign of the progress JLT has made over the past few years, we were pleased to see that JLT now has its own restaurant awards scheme, which lets local residents, office workers, and visitors vote for their favourite restaurant in JLT across multiple categories. Of course, we entered our restaurants and bars and now we’re looking for your support to help us win. Thank you very much to all our guests and associates who supported our recent full fire & emergency drill, which took place on 20th July.
The drill was carried out in cooperation with professionals from Dubai Civil Defense, Rescue, Ambulance, and Dubai Police. Dubai Civil Defense fire officials, who supervised the exercise, commended all out efforts in organizing the drill. We achieved a 100% score meeting all expectations.
Although the drill may have caused guests, visitors, and neighbours somewhat of an inconvenience while it took place, we are committed to carry out such drills on a regular basis to ensure that our team is always in top form.

Paddy’s Day 2017 at the Bonnington? It’s a wrap!
… and it’s a wrap! Another Paddy’s Day weekend at the Bonnington has been and gone. This year, we had old favourites, like our Irish dancers in the lobby, but also exciting new events, like the biggest Irish party Dubai has ever seen, which was organized by our friends from McGettigan’s and which took place in Media City.

The day itself sped past like a whirlwind with events taking place in the hotel, in McGettigan’s JLT, and in Media City. Although it was very busy, we had time to pop across the road and party a little, too:
